The Skins Game

The Skins Game, well not the highly watched PGA tournament nor the famed football team in Washington DC, but the real skins game is back! A locally owned real estate brokerage firm has great success in today's market because it is their town, their money, their connections, their clients and their deals. There has been a dramatic shift in the way consumers purchase real estate because of the Internet. A nationally owned company is less meaningful to the average buyer because when you log on to the national firm's name, navigating the web page and locating the desired city or community is lost on the consumer. Logging on to a national brand is equivalent to a search for PGA rated golf courses, you have to drill down too far to reach a suitable site.
