'Tis a privilege to live in Colorado and Coloradoans are enjoying that privilege today. Along the front range, snow fell and temperatures dropped wreaking havoc on the Denver area's deciduous trees that have not changed color after a mild autumn. The streets have been lined with limbs and leaves, but not in the glorious Castle Pines Village. Castle Pines Village is nestled in a century plus Ponderosa Pine forest with acres of the majestic evergreens that withstand an early winter storm. The Village is home to two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses and a cornucopia of homes from large estates to zero lot line townhomes. The Village was planned and developed in the early eighties and has adhered to blending unique architecture with the beauty of the forest. Residents include CEO's of oil, technological, medical, educational, aerospace, legal, sports and more; including your basic CEO of the homefront. The diversity in family dynamics gives this community a special warmth, the residents span several generations. The community's homeowner's associaiton is active and communicative with a website, newsletter and open board meetings. There is an active design review committee that monitors pre-construction through post construction as well as changes to existing homes, including landscape design. The community's plan is to preserve the natural landscape, flora and fauna, with little disruption to the natural residents that range from owls to pussycats. Castle Pines Village is a gated controlled access community with an Emergency Services Department housed near a major Fire Department. There are three community swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, children's playgrounds, soccer/play fields, and hiking and biking trails that wind up and down the hills and valleys of the village. Castle Pines Village is minutes from the Denver Tech Center, Park Meadows Mall with anchor stores such as Nordstrom's and IKEA. It is an easy commute to downtown Denver and is convenient to E470 to the Denver International Airport and C470 to the I70 corridor and Colorado's lush mountain resorts. Castle Pines Village has a small boutique shopping area, just outside the guard gates, that is home to a Tony's Market, a floral shop, restaurants and more, Pizza Delivery too!
