If I Had a Wagon

...I would go to Colorado! On the last day of November, Coloradoans are experiencing a fairly typical Colorado late autumn day. The late autumn foliage is ready to change out the closet for winter white. While temperatures are going to be mildly 60 something with bluebird skies, there will be a sudden drop as the clock strikes midnight and an expected five inches of snow will arrive with December. This is Colorado and this is why people want to live here. If it snows five inches Coloradoans don't expect school to be cancelled and will probably wear flip flops to that early morning yoga or spin class. Humidity? It is humid to the average Coloradoan if it is over 25%, which is why it never seems too cold or too hot. The determining factor if someone is from Colorado is that they give directions by saying toward the mountains or away from the mountains and they know what the Continental Divide is and where it is. Spotting a bear on your front porch or a herd of elk across your golf course doesn't bother you...if you are from Colorado. You probably have a ski pass hanging next to your car keys and you have experienced off roading in a vehicle that was never intended for such activities. You don't store your bike for the winter and you keep your holiday outdoor lights up through Stock Show. You have been to the Brown Palace for Christmas tea and the showing of the prize bull in January. You own a cowboy hat. Sounds like fun, right? This is why Colorado hits the top ten list for desirable places to reside in every category, so why not make that move to Colorado. We have plenty of room! One option is to build your dream home on the most spectacular lot in Castle Pines Village on the prestigious Castle Pines Golf Club's hole #10.
