Greening Up Denver

Green Shoots! Just in time for a Spring delivery, the housing market in the Denver area is on the verge of a shoots. A report on the Today Show identified Denver as the number one real estate market topping out San Francisco, Seattle, Austin and Raleigh. Citites that are appreciating an economic recovery share the same attributes such as job growth and a growing population, the dancing duo for an economic upswing. Good weather and a vital downtown also top the list putting Denver in the #1 spot with world class art museums, opera, symphony, theatre and six professional sports teams at the foot of the Rocky Mountain playgrounds. A well educated population is a strong indicator of cities that will recover early, yet the most interesting factor that signals a city's recovery is a large number of foreclosures... early. Denver lead the nation down the foreclosure tunnel early but there is light now and the green shoots are appearing. The inventory of homes for sale is low along with rental vacancy rates, competition for buyers and sellers and multiple offers are on the rise. Low interest rates are bringing the green, it is the perfect time to buy if you are a first time buyer, a move-up buyer, a relocating buyer or an investor looking for a good REIT. Email me now for more information on the Denver area market which includes markets from Castle Pines Village to Boulder. posted: March 1, 2012 - Judy's Denver - Blog
