There is a Santa Claus!  Of course magic is in the eye of the beholder and many believers penning a wish list headed towards the North Pole will not have a bright and shiny new school on the list, but that is what is being delivered to downtown Denver.

The Denver Public Schools are moving forward towards establishing a new school in the downtown area.  The location is 1860 Lincoln and the district will use the space in a multi-use way, housing the administrative offices there as well as moving the Emily Griffith Tech College and opening the Downtown Denver Expeditionary school.

According to today's Denver Post, the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School will be an elementary school scheduled to open next fall.  This is the result of collaboration among community groups including but not limited to the Downtown Denver Partnership.  Project approval is set for the next Board meeting scheduled in two weeks, right before the sleigh is loaded.

Check out the Denver Post article written by Karen Auge for more information on the sale and purchase and other changes and plans that the school district and Mayor's office are coordinating.  This is exciting news as Denver moves into the future.

If you are interested in re-locating to Denver, our office is located directly across the street from Union Station, currently undergoing renovation for light rail expansion and under construction with multiple buildings that will house office, retail, restaurants and housing.  We have gone from the mini stocking to the super size variety, a big city with the heart of a small town.

For the holidays, Kentwood City Properties has teamed up with LoDo Cares to provide necessities for the homeless such as socks, hats, gloves, scarves, dental items and toiletries.  The company is matching the items purchased by the brokers and staff at Kentwood City with a cash donation to LoDo Cares.

The season of giving just keeps on giving in Denver.
